brokenby lovethelightComment: this really reminds me on JL's broken bulb shots, although he did'nt use nekkid girls. ;)
but hoenstly, it's good work, the lighting is great. the only thing that seems odd to me is the crop. i would rather see the background leveled and the girl "tilted" (to the right). i'm also missing the left arm and breast of that girl, which seems strange. |

Week 4 - In a Worldby shalrathComment: this is really cool! maybe i would have done the top shot a bit different tho: having her face turned away to the left so that she's lookin out of the frame would give the idea that both you and her are lookin in different directions, your eyes and mind focusing on the background scene, until -and that is displayed in the second shot- both of you get eye contact, the focus is on her, in that moment everything in the background fades away, becomes unimportant and blurry. that way you would be tellin a story of a flirt rather than just showing things as they are, it would provide a time frame of those two unique moments.

Big Island Sea Cliffsby bassboneComment: hey man, you bet me by .01 points in that challenge! :)
i think the cliffs look very spectecular and the composition and mood are great.
however the hdr looks a bit overdone imo, but it's still tasteful compared to most of all the other hdr shots in that challenge. |

Lost in shadowsby hajekaComment: ok, cool subject with a lot of unused potential: straighten the house, convert to black and white with a red filter to darken out the sky, add more contrast and you'll have a much more powerful composition. you could have also used more of those nice tree branches to the left to give a bit more space to the comp and to give a better view of what surrounds that old house. |
