what makes you think this shot stood in any connection to holocaust (not implying he wasn't but he doesn't mention it anywhere and from my point of view i can't see the connection so i'm just interested understanding your thoughts)?

Heartbreakingby scooter88Comment: the title seems too banal and suggestive for this kind of image, but i guess in your position i would have had the same trouble in finding an appropriate title.
anyways, it's a moving (if not for me heart breaking, but rather very raw and authentic) photograph, that depict a certain moment and emotion really well. it reminded me on the blue ribbon image of the movie titles challenge...
