The mountains are calling and I must go -JMby acoppolaComment: beautiful view! the guy on the rock gives a nice juxtaposition. looks like that glacier has seen better times in its life...
i find the processing to be a bit too hdr'ish but it's within the limits of not looking overdone. the dark green patch of grass at the left keeps distracting my eyes a bit in a strange way. still a great shot! overall 7 |

great shots though, i always wondered if the pilot's were actually aware of what they were doing (and going to cause) in that exact moment when they were releasing the bombs...or maybe they didn't think at all. |

wow, what an unsentimental comment! I was born and raised in Dresden so these pictures make my heart feel like somebody stabbed it with a knife. I know it's all history and we shouldn't look away from what has happend (i'm not proud of the germans either who killed 6 million jews), but i just think your comment is very inappropriate on an international forum (or any forum for that matter).
and even though i have very different feelings than what appears some people here have about these shots, i think they're a great "zeitzeugnis" and legacy of your brother in law's granddad! |
