Hi there Shane,
What a wonderful world to live in. Candyland :) I'm gonna be honest. This is not your best shot. Just finished looking through your portfolio and you've got some wonderful shots. I think the problem with this shot is overprocessing. The idea is great but the final outcome dose not look so great. That is my oppinion. It would have been great to place a child on the picture picking a lollyflower or maby bending over and licking it.

Keep up the good work. Again... you've got some great shots in your portfolio.

Best wishes, Arnit

Heill og sæll Magnús,
Mér líkar þessi mynd mjög. Myndbyggingin er mjög góð og litirnir frábærri. Bjallan vel staðsett í rammanum. Mjög lítið út á hana að setja ef ég á að segja alveg eins og er. Sem sagt myndina en ekki bjölluna :) Eina sem pirrar mig smá er þetta gras neðst í hægra horninu. Væri lítið mál að cropa það bara í burtu. Góð mynd í alla staði.

Hope you understand Icelandic :)

Finally a good photograph with leading lines in it. I like the power of the ocean. The oceanline leads me to the photographer and then onward to the two rocks in the sea. And the birds in the background just makes it perfect. Good job and good luck.

This is a clean and well lit picture. There is something under the watch. Not sure what it is but I can't take my eyes off it :) And I would like to see the edge of the watch cleaned. Overall this picture is very good. Weel executed studio shot.

Good luck in future challenges :)

What a beautiful flower. I think it is a bit crowded at the top. Maby a close crop would have better. Or if you would have cloned out some parts of the flower in the top of the image.

Keep on trying. I see potential in you. Good idea using a window as backlight.

Good luck in future challenges.

First thing I want to say is Great Lighting!. The light falling on the water in the foreground is amazing. And the moment you caught is excellent! The only thing I'm thinking about that could be better is to see more of the sky. Not sure if I'm right or not. And if you could have placed a person on that rock. Man ohhhhh... man this shot would be perfect.

A good shot overall and good luck in future challenges.

I like it that you are trying a different view on flowershots. Much more interesting than just a close up of an flowe. I think the flowers out of focus in the foreground is so light it draws my attention to it. I would try to dodge the flower in the center of the picture. So the attention would go straight to that. And maby darkening the flowers in the foreground.

Good job and good luck in future challenges.
