Challenge: Leading Lines II (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Location: London, South Bank
Date: Jun 21, 2005
Aperture: f20
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/8
Galleries: Cityscape, Architecture
Date Uploaded: Jun 21, 2005

Taken from the Millenium bridge towards St Pauls a couple of hours after sunrise. I liked the way that even the cloud formation seems to lead the eye in. Perhaps the shot is a little too busy.

Photoshop..
One panel was broken and was roped of with bright red and white tape. cloned this out. Also adjusted saturation and sharpened and slightly straightened the shot.

I too love this photo. It is so clean and crisp, showing London in its modernity and historicity. Favorite.

Your leading lines are just wonderful!! BOOM! My eyes go right to the center! Excellent! You did very well in this challenge because this is a very good picture!!! You did a great job at cloning, I can't even tell you did anything. Saturating more might help. I would have cloned out the cranes too and maybe the tops of a few less important buildings.

You are very talented, your work is so good. Matter of fact one of your photos are in my favorites right now. You picked a great time of day to shoot this. The sky and colors are beautiful. You have a great DOF here also. I wish you the best of luck in future challenges.(not that you need it)

Finally a picture with leading lines. Good job. The sky looks fantastic and the skyline beautiful. Center composition works well. Good luck.

At first I was going to say that this might be better without the people in the frame, but upon reflection, I feel that they add rather than detract. Their inclusion gives some sense of life to what, otherwise, could be a rather sterile, if well executed, cityscape.

sweet and understaed. Classic leading lines solution, if a bit obvious. I like very much that you have resisted oversaturating to add "pop"

really nice picture, pity those people are there but that's hardly your fault

beautiful picture, but with the size restraints I might have cropped a little tighter on St. Paul's. b/c the pic couldn't be any wider than this, all the elements are small.
