Very nice.
Superb choice for B&W and very well processed.

A great leading line because while it leads to the subject it also forms a dichotomy bewteen the rich foreground and the soft and surreal background. Would have loved this is all b/w. A great image, regardless.

the beautiful black sand of iceland. nice shot. i think that beach and the sealine would have also made a wonderful abstract. i received alot of similiar comments, which slightly annoyed me, but i just have to say I wish the person wasn't there and i just had nature

This is a nice picture but where's the leading lines? The sea shore? IMO this is a Out of The Box entry. Good Luck.

Great shot. Love the line of the water that leads to the person but you also have the verticle lines of the person and the rock formations in the bacground. 8

Very beautiful! I like the whitish water next to the dark beach...very effective.

Very nicely done! You have leading lines that are very subtle and work on the mind in a very unconscious way. This is what I believe is much more effective usage of the compositional style that is called leading lines.

Oh yeah, great misty tonality. My only small complaint is that the ground is so much darker than the rest of the shot and kinda unballances the overall cold feeling...

A lovely scene but my eye is not taken to the points of interest by leading lines.

I like the muted color and feel of this image. The line of the water begins to lead, but then seems to curve back into the ocean rather than leading to the person on the beach.

Finally a good photograph with leading lines in it. I like the power of the ocean. The oceanline leads me to the photographer and then onward to the two rocks in the sea. And the birds in the background just makes it perfect. Good job and good luck.

A very moody and dramatic picture. Perhaps cloning out the birds on the left of the frame might give it an even more pure look.

Don't know if it's me or not, but your horizon doesn't seem quite level. On a good note, I love the water meeting the sand, and the inclusion of a human subject really makes the picture.

Leading lines or curves generally have two purposes. One is to lead the viewer into the scene. The other is to lead you toward the main subject. It is most effective if they come in from the lower left because that is the natural direction humans visually scan a picture from so are easiest to pick up.

This image has subtle and very effective lines to direct attention to the beachcomber and the rocks beyond.

I like the picture, I think though that a tighter crop at the bottom would improve it considerably (7)

beautiful site, nice line, good foreground, attractive background shapes in the rocks. 8

I love how subdued the colors are in this shot. The line leading to the subject is creative and very well done. The objects in the background enhance the picture even more. 10

Breathtaking! I'm so jealous of people who have the advantage of being near these gorgeous seascapes for their challenges. This is just so well done too! Everything about it is perfect. It has to be a 10!

I love photos that convey mood and this one does that. the dejected shoulders of the man walking and alone in the vast universe created by the photo
