End of the Lineby DavenitComment: always a good idea to work rust into a photo, signs of time and age are compelling. picked just the right spot, just the right crop.
borders don't really do anything for me, but everybody else is using them,
so after this week you won't hear any more moaning about it. go for what you know. |

Trumpting in the Moonby AnachroniteComment: fantastic lighting, crop is good too. just a little pixellated though, this picture's kind of a good argument for shooting with negetives working the enlarger.
this looks like a great subject for shooting a series at different times of day. |

Spindlesby justineComment: right point of focus. bonus points for not throwing on a superfluous border. neat thing about this one is i bet folks run up and down the stairs a zillion times without catching this angle, which is why it fits the challenge so well. black and white a good choice. |

Supportby OneSweetSinComment: almost perfectly symmetrical, good job of capturing that for the shot, fits the challenge really well. |

Heatby AleciaComment: good choice of subject. don't mind the glow of the shining white like maybe would happen with another shot, this looks better just a little overexposed.

Round by albright1Comment: edge of the jefferson memorial at magic hour, right? you could make your own postcards. i think your columns are at like 89 or 91 degree angle, almost but not quite vertical. noticeable because your rectangle's a game of lines.
man what a nice exposure, just enough sweet gold light, saturates just right.

Giants of the Bushby PtmanComment: think for the purposes of this challenge it might've behooved you to get right at the foot of one, make the angle as ridiculous as possible. not that this isn't a real nice shot, which it is. like the bonus shadows on the trunk. works real nice with the grain of the wood. |

Stairwellby jimmyn4Comment: you seem to have gotten the angle that produces the most lines possible within your rectangle. good job. did you use a flash? the lighting's a little harsh in the lower right maybe. |
