Very appealing and original image. The fact that the feathers produce a pattern in which the subject emerges is a very clever one - nice approach of the challenge. Moreover, it has beautiful saturated colors and vrey good ocmposition. Good job.

And could you explain what that link might be?
I see minimum sized subjects not a minimalistic image.
Besides, neither the animals or the cathedral are strong subjects, if tha's where you were going - they don't stand out.
When I look at the picture, all I see is a "straight and narrow path", surrounded by trees - and this is, in my opinion, the main subject, which is not minimalistic at all.
Maybe I'll think differently when I read your explanation...

Though you do have a minimalistic image, following the challenge's guidelines in every aspect, I feel the shadow is not such a strong point (it lacks contrast to the background and should be darker). Nice try and effort, though. Good luck.
