The sky is so cool - how did you do that? I'll have to make this a favorite - it's the kind of shot I've been trying to get for ages (unfortunately without success :-) ... so I'll just fave yours and lay off off my own attempts at "lone tree photography". I've never seen anything like this - amazing color in that sand. Off to Google "Pheiffer Beach" now (no idea where that could be). I think this would also be nice with just the sand and a bit of the water, because for me at least, it's the pink sand that makes this image special.

Good idea - nice, different take on the challenge. Looks like it must've been a lot of work to set up! The costume, the colors, the idea - are great. I bet it would also have been striking to have the wand a bit to the side of the godmother's face, so we could see her better. Love the tierra!!

There's a lot of warmth in this photo. It looks like the sharpness in on the woman's pink sleeve rather than the faces, but I am moved by the composition. It makes me wonder what they're discussing.

Beautiful! Good black and white treatment. Only niggles are that the face could have a bit more light. I love the graduated background and the light in her left eye.
