Italian jewelsby SaroComment: Light seems a touch harsh on the stem but a beautiful picture - one can almost taste and smell them! |

A Cool Placeby joannsComment: Marvellously atmospheric - I want to go and sit in this garden on a sunny day (but when the bench is in shade) and read a good book. This really evokes all the best things about a garden to me. |

Dragonfly by BobsterLobsterComment: What a lovely capture with the water and dragonfly so clear and the background so nicely out of focus. Only minor problem for me is that one very dark and large vertically hanging leaf which competes a little with the foreground for me but still a wonderful image. |

feelin' hot?by miss parkerComment: Great image! Nice contrast and lighting. IMO I'd like to see either slightly more cropping (especially at left) or a little less. At the moment it doesn't feel quite right in terms of what is included and not... but that's just my feeling...
Nice image... |

Done in the Gardenby OneSweetSinComment: Nice subject material. I can see how the vertical lines are true to the edge of the frame on the right but this means they are quite a lot out on the left. I wonder if it would be better to rotate a touch so that the central area of the fence and the spade handles are perfectly vertical. Great feeling of a day's work in the garden... not that you'd catch me doing it! :) |

Chlorophyllby mannenComment: Summer days.... it's hot here and this image really makes me _feel_ the heat of sitting out in a pleasant green garden or park. |

Please---Not In My Garden!!!by GallatinComment: Although in one sense I like the way you've caught two butterflies together, in another sense, the recognisable shape of a butterfly wing has been lost and I'm not sure that works for me... I do like the DOF choice. |

Forlorn in the gardenby ColeyComment: I played with this a little in photoshop and this is how I like it best... I rotated it by 2.16 degrees counter clockwise. I then cropped it in from the left to excluse all the foreground flowers at the front. (Not because I don't like those but because I wasn't keen on the centred composition). I also cropped up from the bottom. Anyway, I like the photo a lot and hope you wont take offence at my messing around with ideas for it. The copy I took has now been deleted from my hard drive completely.
