great contrast between the leaves and the rich blue sky. the sun flare looks good in the case too.

i can't really explain why, but this shot works!
the blue sky, the excellent focus on the plant...even the little imperfections in the bottom leaves. Good composition...the attention is drawn to the upper left corner and it mixes in well with the overly bright sun. a 9!

Great picture, for once I like the effect of that flare filter that gives the sun six strands. Presumably you used fill-in flash for the leaves... I think it was a little on the harsh side. There's quite a lot of noise in the background, especially in the top-left. Nice composition. 8

Summer days.... it's hot here and this image really makes me _feel_ the heat of sitting out in a pleasant green garden or park.

I like this photo! It screams "Alive" to me. The color contrasts are wonderful - the deep blue and the green. I almost cringe from the sun.
