Superb composition using the lighting, singer and mike stand.
The way one of the streams of lights backlights the mike and his face so well is excellent.

Feeling like fall

Like the bubbles in the liquid and the play of light and shadow on the different surfaces. Would prefer the spotlight to be more accurately centred.

Beautiful warm colour on the leaves but I find the left side of the frame a little too dark overall. Very evocative of Autumn though.

I'm not quite sure what this is but I like the image. It reminds me a lot of the work of someone whose name is escaping me right now (it's really driving me crazy). He does/ did images of his own temporary works of art out in a nature landscape setting - such as an egg shape made of stones in the middle of a river. Anyway I can't remember the name and it's driving me nuts. But this kind of reminds me of that. Great composition and I love the grainy gritty texture and the high contrast also.

NOTE: A friend helped jog my memory. It's Andy Goldsworthy I was thinking of.

I like this idea very much and am sure it will score highly. The double meaning of light is witty without being the sole purpose of the image. I love the detail in the feather compared with the softness of the shadow. I do find it too tightly cropped at the left side, both to the feather and to it's shadow.

Evening Mist

Very atmospheric. Like the effect of the light on the trees. Would crop just a very small touch more off the bottom so that diagonal of fence aims into lower right corner a little more.

I find this strangely appealing, although I was dismissive of it on first viewing. It has quite a sci-fi feel and I like the contrast of the golden interior light to the white star light. Only negative for me is the flare of white light near the apex of the roof. Is that the moon or something else?

I like this but I think there's just a little too much. Is the focal point the glass, the background or the runes? Judging from the title I'd have guessed at the runes but judging by the image they are just dark blobs that happen to be on the table and the glass and background are key. Nice image just not sure there is a strong enough focus for me.

PS I like the bubbles too - the texture shows the paint is real and not merely two circles of painted card - and, although that wouldn't be a problem, I don't think it would look as good as the real paint.
