libraby HeidieComment: Nice set of scales and I think the choice of black and white with toning brings out the detail. Lighting is somewhat uneven, perhaps softening it by putting a sheet or tissue infront of the light source might help. I'd also consider using a large sheet of card, curved to provide both surface and backdrop, to remove lines and remove background detail more effectively. |

Sagittariusby weavercComment: I'd prefer this to be either a true silhouette or to have fill in light that allows me to see the detail of the subject. This feels like it's randomly stuck in between the two. Pose and composition are OK, but lighting is the main problem for me. |

Three of Gem's in the Familyby GPComment: I like the image and the angle but am missing the connection with the challenge, even having read the title several times. Hence, it fails in terms of conveying the theme to me. |

Cancerby MonaComment: Good choice to opt for close up - filling the frame can certainly add more interest to an everyday subject. |

Archer's Wrath by casualguyComment: What great "texture" to that background - nice mix of tones in it too.
Arrow is sharp and well positioned - but feels a little wonky. Doesn't detract for me though. |

Cancer /Crabby trainComment: Nice enough image but don't like the inversion.
EDIT: I understand from our PMs that this isn't an inversion but a glass paperweight! Thanks for letting me know. Visually it looks like a negative - I guess that's what I don't like. What I do like is the texture around the edge. |

Aquarius - by Giuseppe Armaniby brettdComment: A nice image but feels to me that I'm admiring the creativity of the artist that produced the ornament rather than the creativity on the part of the photographer. |

Red Rag to a Shadowby ImagineerComment: Nice idea and I like the simplicity with which you've captured it - The highly textured surface really adds to the interest. |
