TV flat on the ground with a picture of the moon, pexiglass on top of the TV with a space in between. A small Wallmart clip on desk light placed between the tv & pexiglass, Crab on top! The cord for the desk light exits where the crabs back touches the edge of the moon. Since the cord is black you cannot see the cord for the light.

The reflection is because I didn't get the camera peferectly above the TV/crab. It was at a slight angle and that caused the reflection. I setup and took the picture early Sunday morning, thought about re-taking it to get rid of the reflection but was out of time....Wife and baby were up already....time to go to church!

Thanks for all the comments!

I think this would work for me better if the moon looked more real and less like it was on your TV or monitor. Perhaps also if the light from underneath the crab was more blue, less intense, and didn't reflect on the glass. Great concept though.

Clever - looks like the crab is in front of a projected moon image. Nice composition - 8.

Interesting idea though I'd like to see some light on the crab body to bring colour to it also.

would have been better with some light on the back of the crab, the light there is seems a blit over exposed on the legs to the left

Sharp and good idea. The front-claws (or what its called) maby litle to much lit and you can see a reflexion of them. Otherwise a very good shot.
