Old Rusty Nailby dsidwellComment: Wow! That's incredible! Great textures and the way the wood is almost black and white works so well against that rich rusty red. This really is wonderful! |

just another dayby grigrigirlComment: I'm not sure I could ever think of a beautiful young boy as mundane so, for me, it's not a good fit to the challenge theme, but I do like the image. I like the shadows and the high contrast adds interest. |

egg whiskby willemComment: The colours in this just reach out and grab me and I love the way this really uses the whole frame so well. I like your choice to focus on the head of the handle and throw the two nearest spokes out of focus. Lighting is also just right. |

Silverwareby ShelleyComment: Very creative and intriguing use of lighting - I like the colours you've introduced here. And the repetitive shapes work well with that abstract feel. |

a lovely industrial plantby ursulaComment: Wow! This is incredible! That thin dark line of mountain ridge really makes the image pop out though each element is perfect - the composition, the depth of colour in the cloud, the lighting within the steam columns and the position and size of the plant. Absolutely beautiful. |

Just TPby PoobaComment: This is a pretty cool abstract yet still recognisable. The clever positioning of the lighting is fascinating, though I think the image as a whole is just a touch too dark for my preferences. I think I'd cropy half a centimetre off the top and left sides. |

Running Waterby agwrightComment: Going further than the usual long exposure to really blur the water motion makes this more abstract and hence more appealing. Though many parts of the frame are pure white I think this lack of detail and solidity balances the dark, detailed surface of the rocks. |
