Lovely lighting and wonderful expression. I like the inclusion of the fencing infront of him for it's pattern and provision of compositional balance and also for the way it places him in his environment. A really beautiful portrait.

PS I just read a marvellous book called A Primate's Memoirs by Robert Sapolsky which is about baboons not chimps and sounds deathly dull but is actually a very touching story. You might enjoy it.

A sweet portrait that I'm sure the models will really like. Colour seems a little too orange to me.

I like the shapes - the semicircle of the bushes, the strong lines of the steps, columns and bench. And I like the feeling of contemplation/ rest.
Not sure you picked a very nice model ;)

I think going in closer would create more impact, as would a portrait orientation - the space at the two sides adds nothing.

A lovely portrait with nice close crop, nice touch of framing from the shirt edge below, and nice close crop to create a feeling of intimacy.

I really like the composition, with the line of his profile cutting the frame so confidently. The slight smile on his face is endearing and the light in his eyes certainly speaks of passion. I like that I can see his teeth - makes the smile look more genuine. Lighting seems a touch hard on his nose and cheek - is it already diffused? I like this one a lot.

I like this wider portrait that shows some of her environment - it makes me think that perhaps she is an artist, this lady who lives in a beautifully decorated loft apartment.

This is very striking and reminds me of the kind of image I'd expect to see on a magazine cover. I'd like to crop even tighter at the right (to lose all that background on that side) and a touch more on top. I think it creates a stronger composition. This is just beautiful. If the light were a touch softer on her face I think it would be perfect.
