This, IMHO, should have been a top 10 finish. The expression and composition are classic.

Good picture! I like how the bars frame the picture!

The focus seems a wee bit soft though, but good pic!

Beautiful woman and I love the way you've framed her in the window and with the tree. I do find this image to be too busy. Though I would imagine this to be your intention, I don't like her distant stare as I find it to be almost vacant, as if she's not looking at anything in particular. Also, she is wearing too much black that is all blending together.

at first notice the border is distracting...the photo itself is very nice...has a nice candid feel to it...you model doesn't appear to be posing, but rather just standing there waiting for something...very relaxed, natural feel to it

It's Yoko Ono!! Nice composition.

Love the composition and color - wish her right shoulder and arm were somehow more articulated from the shadow but that's a minor thing. - 8

Hmmmmm....I think you're on to a good idea here but would want to see more poses from different angles. The model looks impatient, or bored, or something. The lighting in the background behind the window needs a lift in the corner, her jacket sleeve gets lost there.

I want to see her closer.

I like this wider portrait that shows some of her environment - it makes me think that perhaps she is an artist, this lady who lives in a beautifully decorated loft apartment.

Nice, natural light. A closer shot of the subject might have been better though. There's a bit too much in the composition for a portrait. Is that a lace-leaf maple?

Stunning shot it really grabbed me. She is relaxed and folds into the background. Excellent work.

nice work here.....I like the composition. Lots of different elements going on in this photo, but they all seem to work together well.

Nice framing, frames within as well, dark lines do this shot good. The tree interacts nicely with the model. Good job.

I love the lighting and muted colors, but a a stickler for square lines, I would have tried to get the window perfectly horizontal. Nice shot.

Nicely balanced composition and complimentary lighting. It is a pity that it is tilted in the lower half (down to left), maybe a change in camera position might have helped (squarer to the wall). Use of the tree in the background is very clever.

I really like this shot. It makes me wonder what she's thinking. I can't decide if that tree adds to the photo or distracts. Still, I like that it seems like a naturally caught pose.
