A great silhouette - what a shame you didn't remember to submit it.

I like the framing - particularly the shape of the tented ceiling - though I'd crop a little more on all four sides to retain framing but increase size of and focus on central scene.

The forms of the fence and people are fascinating and seem to introduce a sliver of a story - who are they? where are they? what are they doing? what's the occasion?

What an absolutely charming (and somewhat absurd) image. Such fun! Lighting is great and your choice to go black and white is just right. It's nice to see someone crop to non-standard ratios. I often do (not that you'd notice from my few DPC entries) but I notice few tend to think of it. Works well here. Wonderful image!

Lovely image - I like the slight pattern in the background - thrown out to just the right extent by the shallow DOF. I think the texture of rust and wear on the chain and padlock really adds interest. Your composition is unusual and works well for me.

Lovely viewpoint. There are so very many pictures of the Eiffel Tower and yet you've shown me one that I hadn't seen before with the inclusion of the signs and the tree to really add additional interest. Excellent!

Not sure what this is but assuming it's an engine or machine of some kind. Love shallow DOF and I think it works well here with the close up creating wonderful abstract curvy shapes.
