I gave this a 5. Wasn't keen on the negative effect. Content seems vaguely interesting and certainly complex but not overly aesthetically grabbing.

I gave this a 5. I like the unusual viewpoint and the texture of the carpet. But there's not enough of the foot and club or perhaps they aren't positioned in such a way that really pull me in. Black and white works well. Doesn't particularly convey challenge theme to me though I can see where you're coming from!

This is stronger than the others you have posted. The depth of colour in the sky is beautiful. Very rich. The main difference is that the trees that provide the static landscape form more pleasing shapes and a stronger composition than in other shots. Brave decision to place the horizon so low - it works well. I really like horizons that are not always along a thirds line.

Nice touch of light in the eye. Nice serious expression - sombre but not depressed. Nice choice of toning colour. Lighting creates some lovely shadows that make some wonderful shapes.

Without the title I probably wouldn't even have identified what I'm looking at though it doesn't affect enjoyment because this is more like an abstract painting. Beautiful light, texture and colour.

How cool - I just spent the week in Devon and made 4 visits to the House of Marbles which was just near where we were staying. Nice use of lighting.

I love the content - there's such an energy and vitality to it. The shapes are great. I don't think it lends itself well to backlighting - my main thought is that more light on their faces and less behind would improve the image.
