Aperture by ZoomdakComment: Beautiful image! Wonderful colours and stunning foreground and background silhouette subjects. Great composition too. Also really like the alternative with the byciclist - that's a winner too. |

Delicateby mbardeenComment: I like the texture and colour a lot but there's no focal point or even an especially soothing composition. 5

Busker Girlby MAKComment: Absolutely excellent use of this architectural detail to create frames within the image for the girl and the guitar. The composition just shouts out and the image is highly creative to boot. My only criticism would be of the yellow within the border since it doesn't echo a colour from within the image I find it somewhat glaring. If you prefer a colour rather than grey or white, I'd try the green from the guitar instead. 8 |

Three Times Not Luckyby magnusComment: Simple, strong composition and nicely exposed. The image works well on both an emotional and visual level. 8 |

Two Zebrasby dsa157Comment: Oooh it's a couple of Grevy's zebra! Beautiful!
Really nice use of a natural pattern to create a strong abstract. The waved line of the spine of the animal in the foreground really creates an excellent composition.
Very nice! 8 |

Morning Sunbatherby nsoroma79Comment: Delightful bird portrait! I like the way we have the front breast of the bird, a slightly opened wing with the feather pattern clearly visible and the side of the head showing lots of eye and crown detail. An exceptionally appealing pose from the bird. The composition is just perfect with just the right amount of wood to green background ratio. Really lovely shot. 8 |

La Chaiseby BeagleboyComment: Stark, emotive, high impact black and white. The high contrast works well to emphasise both the spotlight and the inky blackness surrounding it. I like the use of lots of negative space to emphasise the loneliness of that position. The soft detail of brick behind the chair definitely adds something. Lovely! 10 |
