18/10 by Keith ManiacComment: Sorry I didn't have time to comment during the voting period. I gave this image a 9; it's one of my favourites in the challenge.
I particularly like the use of light, shadow and form. The shapes created by the negative space are just as interesting as those created by the spoons and their reflections.
The manufacturer's stamp on the back of a couple of the handles adds interesting detail amidst all the smooth surfaces. |

Spanish Forkby GermaineComment: Would have scored this higher but there's such a strange line between the edge of the tree trunk and the background - some strange processing I think - that it's drawing my attention away from the fork and the lovely texture of the bark. |

Touchby AndrewTOComment: Nice study of just a small detail of a sculpture. I like how that allows us to focus on texture and weathering and even the marks of the sculpteur's chisel/ tools. Works well. COmposition feels a touch top heavy. |

Electric Ladyby NazgulComment: Wow! That's different! Her body feels too abruptly cropped. I wonder how this would work as a portrait oriented image with more of her body included? |

Bookendby ManicComment: Oooh, way way macro with very shallow DOF. I do like that aspect of it, plus the toning and the abstract feel of the image. Composition doesn't particularly grab me and there's no real focal point for me. |

Windowby FranziskaLangComment: Strangely muted colours - I suspect that's just how they are in reality - makes this quite intriguing. Nice composition, great textures, nice even lighting too. Something in this just clicks for me. |

Into The Westby TerramarComment: Sweet, romantic silhouette, nicely done. I like the bird in the frame too. |

Patchy Fogby postoakinversionComment: Lovely bucolic scene with wonderful rich colours and lovely light. Nice composition, that tree is perfectly positioned within your frame. The line of mist just lifts it into something more interesting. Nice one! |

Can't think of a title, sorry.by jmleliiComment: Intriguing spot lighting on the central area, nice feeling of depth - I almost want to follow the leading lines of the stems straight into the abyss. Abstract, unusual and striking. Like the high contrast black and white presentation. |
