Seeking a Perchby OlyuziComment: This is quite extraordinary. Technically it's riddled with flaws, but it's a drop-dead capture of a stunning moment, made perfect by the bird flying into the light and slyly augmented by the tiny background bird in the other light patch. Strong score, well-seen. |

Father Skyby ElGordoComment: It made me say "Wow! That's beautiful!" so it gets a strong score from me, even though the foreground is so ugly as to beggar comparison with the sky... Maybe that's what you WANTED, but I suspect you came across this on the fly and didn't have many options. |

Dreaming of sky lilliesby Prime_TimeComment: I admire what you're trying to do here, and I am scoring this well, but in my eyes the image falls short of what it might be, primarily because the flower, which is the strongest single element, is both blown-out and completely out of focus. I understand youw anted the whole thing to be soft, and I have no problem witht hat, but the flower is the SOFTEST thing in the image, and I wish it were vice versa. |

Love in Bloomby mocabelaComment: This is really strong, a flower that's so much more than a flower. The image and the framing both stand out. I'd wish the one sark spor upper right on the flower were not there, though... Very strong entry, hope it does well. |

Early morning Blues by XileboComment: It makes me stop and say "That's beautiful!", which is what the challenge is all about. Wonderful sense of flowing motion, really fine lighting. As an aside, it's VERY strange how the brown horse *appears* to have a white head :-) Should do very well int he challenge. |

Majesticby photogenixComment: Almost cartoon-like, it's so saturated. Quite a stunning image, I'll be surprised if it's not top-10 in this challenge. |

Prideby ergoComment: Looking very strong. Stark and Gritty, yet soft and voluptuous of tone at the same time. Nicely balanced. |

princess buttercupby ursulaComment: One of the more effective soft-focus, semi-abstracts I've seen in DPC. It's refreshing to see a flower not represented literally, and the image is quite stunning. Good luck with it! |

The splash of an apple by LalliSigComment: Congrats on your blue. Technically impressive shot. Saturation is especially nice, not always a given on these water shots. |
