Oil and Waterby JackoComment: Spectacularly nice, but... The pure white foreground really bugs me, and the shadows along the 'ege are awkward too. That's all that's keeping it from a 10. Head and shoulders above most of the oil/water interpretations. |

Adrift by ZoomdakComment: Frankly, I'm tempted to give this a 1 because I'm getting tired of your beach showing up in every damned challenge, zoomer :-) But the image is just too lovely to do that to, so I'll go the other way and give it a 10. At least you're moving up a notch on the metaphor meter. You get high points from me for thinking laterally with this, I love it. |

The priest by heidaComment: This is terrific! Well done!
I went to Heida's DPC page to check out all her ribbons, and noted soemthing odd; her highest-rated image did NOT take a ribbon...
Strange...

Dawnby ZoomdakComment: Beautiful and moody, the forest of pilings is eerie. A bit toomuch NeatImage for my taste on this one, or whatever smoother was used. But a strong entry. |

Midnight Mist by RulerZigzagComment: In many ways this is fabulous, but the distortion of the shape on the right bothers me. I'd like to see this cropped so there's much less on the right and much more on the left, I think this owuld be stronger and more directional. |
