Ideal spectatorsby herfotomanComment: Well at least they had the sense to sit back in the shady section. Nicely seen little comedy. |

Goneby herfotomanComment: Yes, it's a dreadful secret that happened here, now not spoken of. Lekker work, man. |

Flowersby rooumComment: Beyond beautiful Clive. It's recalling something from the past, something I just can't put my finger on. It might be HCB. Nope, just can't find it, but it doesn't matter; this doesn't need any precedent anyway. |

Heritage flightby Yo_SpiffComment: Love it. The 51 and the Raptor look so strange together there! So far apart technically they seem barely related. And yet the Raptor will almost certainly stay in service for far longer than the 51 did.
P.S. Would not have been a 3! |

Lupercus the Shepherd.by rooumComment: Oh Clive, you leek-loving nutter. This is just absurdly splendid. And you awarded yourself the Posthumous White too, right on the crotch. Perfect. |

journeyby LevTComment: Lev, I spent quite a while looking at the other entries again after the results were posted and, as inevitably happens, other commenters revealed wonderful things that I had either missed or underestimated. But none of it has changed my view that this is the Best of 2010. I hope that some of the people who didn't rate it highly and have returned to take another peek may re-evaluate not your photograph, but rather themselves. To be indifferent to this is to be aesthetically anesthetized. |

Rice Fieldsby instepsComment: Beautiful photograph, Henry. I knew I remembered 'insteps' from somewhere when I recently commented on this. Oddly enough, what I remembered eventually actually was steps, which I'd loved at a time when I barely knew which end of a camera to put the carbon paper. It is nice to see you again after all this time, and to find that I still admire your stuff. Message edited by author 2011-02-20 09:02:06. |
