Down The Rabbit Holeby grigrigirlComment: this one I really like! Actually, maybe I'd like it even more in b/w. I am not sure I get the red tint at the top of the photo. |

thanks for your comment! |
this is your choice :). But it is not like you didn't change anything when you did the processing, you actually have changed a lot from the "natural" look of the models anyway. I don't think her skin really has this tint :). I think that your processing (nice one!) kind of exaggerated the freckles on the arm in comparison to the rest of the body, so toning them down a bit would be more flattering and in a sense, more "natural". After all, this is a posed portrait of a nice-looking couple kissing, not a candid street photography. JMO, of course. Message edited by author 2007-02-05 02:12:28. |

passionby hannekeComment: great work hanneke! The only thing I'd change is to dodge the woman's arm, it's too dark IMO. |

Drown: without Text addedby Jaded_HousewifeComment: I love almost everything about this shot. The only thing which bothers a little me is the bright spot in the left upper corner. If it was dark as well and only the water and mist were glowing, it would've been perfect for me. |

Monika in B&W.jpgby edmengComment: I like this much more than the entry, Valera. I think her eyes are just too blue :). B/W is more fitting to her pose, light, and expression. Crop in this one is better also, IMO. Classic portrait, congrats! |

tyredby silverfoxxComment: great concept, and a pretty good execution. Love the composition, and the right hand is magnetizing. A couple of things take away from the image: the background is too visibly painted in, and the line between the leg and the left hand is a bit oversharpened. Since it is right in the focal point of the composition, it jumps out on a viewer. But overall - great work, congrats! |
