Just One Year!

The concept is great as far as the message the youth group is trying to get out there. What I'm not following is what are you going to do with the image you've posted? Is this going to be a flyer to distribute or post around campus?

You mention photos of the youth band - is that what's going on in the background image? Looks like they're in a gym. Do you have any images that show people with the band, maybe even some religious symbolism (cross on the wall, etc...).

The image/card/flyer is slim on context IMO. The positive spin I can put on it is it looks like youth enjoying themselves overall, which is good.

Best of luck to you.

Wasn't that an Indiana Jones movie? If there's another "Romancing The Stone" out there my apologies, but I think it's the first one that will come to mind for the majority of voters. Creative use of blur is nice here. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Wasn't that a pornography film?! Was Debbie a cheerleader? Is Dallas now in Australia? As a male voter I can appreciate the image in front of me, however, I think this is rather shoehorned into the challenge as a "sex sells" kind of shot.

Perfect image for this challenge. Instant recognition of what movie it's appropriate for. Very sharp (maybe over sharpened for some monitors) with good positioning of the subject. May have been able to boost the orange/red a little? All JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Wow. I don't know if this incorporates the actual movie or not...but it's a very cool shot! Well composed, great lighting and contrast, fun to look at. Nicely done. Good luck in the challenge.

This is perfect for the challenge! The positioning of elements in this image is well done and it's well focused. Only minor complaint is the center part of your image could use a little more light - note I said "minor complaint". ;^) Good luck in the challenge.

Outstanding! Congratulations in advance on your Blue ribbon!!! ;^)

Looks like the guy on the far right is intentionally hiding his face (laughing too hard maybe?), and could even be flipping the photog the bird. He-he.

I immediately connected to the movie with this image, which is good. ;^) I wish you had picked a different time of day where the lighting and sky could have provided a bit more drama. It's a bit flat currently. Nice concept! Good luck in the challenge.

This was one of my top picks. I'm glad to see it did well for you - well deserved finish (well ok, top 10 would have been a little sweeter!).

Smile and keep having fun. ;^)
