Sailing in the Moonlightby tmhallingComment: Funny. This reminds me of an image in the 'Lighting' challenge just completed. Of what I've seen so far for water/waves type entries, I like this one the best. Not sure about the portrait orientation (whole lot of scrolling going on), but you certainly put forth a nice effort for this challenge. Good luck to you. |

A Gentle Breezeby emaynerComment: Wow - That's bright! As in a whole lot of light. :D First impression anyway. I like your POV used when taking this shot and the building in back adds a nice touch. Hard to really know if it's windy or not based on the grass being static - meaning not blurry to indicate motion or anything. I imagine it was difficult to slow down the shutter speed enough being as bright as it is. Anyway. Overall, nicely done. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Sculpted by Invisible Handsby lil_moComment: Hmmm...looks pretty darn still here. Not much wind happening at all. ??? Looks like an interesting place to visit. What's the histogram on this look like? It seems a little underexposed. Anyway. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Sailingby MichaelCComment: Overall I like this. I am having a hard time getting "comfortable" in viewing this as I'm not sure where to rest my eyes and focus. Sailboat, bridge, sailboat, bridge... :D Something feels a little hazy and muted, almost like there was some heavy glare to cut thru. I'd say more contrast would cut it down some, but the contrast looks pretty good now. Oh well, just some observations. Good luck in the challenge. |

Windmill in the Skyby BrianRComment: I like the way you've put this together with your composition/framing of the subject. Can't argue there's no wind in this one! :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Tattered and Tornby elizadebComment: Wow. I'll bet this photo is getting a reaction. :D Not just because of the flags themselves, but for their condition. Certainly 'Tattered and Torn'. A very isolated location from the POV that you took this photo. Roadside stand type thing perhaps? Hmmm...have to check back afterwards to see. Good luck in the challenge. |

earth, wind and fireby skewsmeComment: Seems a bit title driven to me. If you just look at this photo the challenge theme of wind wouldn't be a main subject. It IS a very nice image to look at. Good luck. |

Wind Beneath My Wingsby JudiComment: Looks similar in location to the 'Oxymoron' shoot if I have my photographer straight. :) This entry here is fine overall. Nothing earth shaking. I think the main subject is not a large enough piece of the composition, and the theme of wind doesn't come to the forefront as it should. JMO of course. As a B/W the post-processing looks fine with nice contrast and range coverage. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

blowing awayby annahComment: Nice color, great DOF, sharp and well focused. Something about the expression on her face is distracting, particularly her mouth - seems unnatural perhaps. JMO of course. Nice idea and well executed overall. Good luck. |
