Tranquilityby KenComment: Subtle, peaceful. I like the way the edge of the hill/cliff fades out to the left. You can get just a hint of what lies beyond in the vast space. |

When My World's Turning Upside Down...by jenesisComment: Hmmm...maybe I guessed wrong as to the photog on another image. Had another image pegged as being done by Bear, but this kinda looks like Bear's work also. Think it is. ;^)
This is wonderful! Love the composition, very balanced and clean. |

Beside Still Watersby jah_luvComment: Guessing this is Bear? You do that gothic glow look so well. If not Bear then take it as a compliment. ;^)
I like the feel of this image overall. Very still and serene. The one negative I have is the sky in the background. How would this look cropping the top down into the distant treeline? Just a thought.
Good luck in the challenge. |

Frozen in timeby lastefComment: Creative use of selective desat. Not sure if I like the end result yet or not, but still pretty cool (no pun intended). Good luck in the challenge. |

My Moment of Zenby PhotoTessComment: Very zenlike. Could be my monitor here at work, but it looks like the waterdrop isn't quite in focus. :( Nice concept overall. Good luck in the challenge. |

Countrysideby marboComment: Snow in July?! Where in the world do you live that you get snow on full-foliaged trees?
Sorry. Not a big IR fan. Does look like an interesting place to visit or have a picnic, but without the snow. ;^) |

Meditation in Redby ShaneBlakeComment: How many times did you repattern the sand to get it just right? ;^) Nice idea, and well executed. Good luck. |

Feather Softby scarbrdComment: This was the approach I was going to take...couldn't find a good feather. ;^)
I like the reflection of the feather on the water. Looks like you got the timing correct on getting the shot before the ripples hit the area of the feather.
Not sure if it's my monitor here at work or not, but the feather looks a bit soft (no pun intended), especially around the front area of it.
Anyway, good luck in the challenge. |
