Wave Jumpersby EmerkazaComment: It's a cute pic, but what's the postcard connection? Wait, I know, it's generic - good for any beach! Clever. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Kansas Sunsetby lynnmarieComment: Trying to get the exposure right with a setting sun can sometimes be challenging. Since most of this photo is in silhouette already you may have been better suited to wait another 3 or 4 minutes to let that sun hotspot sink down a little farther. JMO of course. Now please don't take this the wrong way, but isn't there a viewpoint someplace that would be a little more dramatic and representative of 'Kansas'? A postcard should make you want to learn more about what it represents IMO. This looks like the backyard of many a subdivision home anywhere in the world. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in the challenge. |

Along the Waterfrontby skewsmeComment: This works fine for a postcard. Nice job of processing the sky in the background. Where is the red/orange glow coming from, the sunset/sunrise? It's almost too much, like this had the color saturation pushed a little too far maybe? Just an observation. Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Spearman, Texasby bsatttuComment: :D This is pretty cool! What are they, lawn ornaments? I like the way you've put this together having the main (largest) windmill in the top left and leaving a little negative space in the top right third. I know that text isn't "required" for a postcard, but personally I think it adds to one. You might be getting dinged a bit for that in scoring. JMO of course. BTW, nice job on resizing this and sharpening correctly. Good luck in the challenge. |

Autumn Sunsetby Bear_MusicComment: Wonderful color tones here in this photograph. Very nice indeed. Certainly is a photo that can stand on it's own merit. I could see this in a local tourist shop for sure, both as a postcard AND a poster! :D Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Flashpoint of the worldby LevTComment: Very nice photo. Well put together and you picked a good time of day it looks like to capture this view. I like the style of text used and the color coordination. Nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffieldby PegasusComment: That's a unique framing you've used there. Interesting, and in this case adds to the image. As for the photo itself, I think it's a bit thin on subject matter to sell people on the shopping centre. Tough subject to shoot it looks like from a distance - perhaps a little closer in to showcase the lighting on the facility itself? Anyway, good luck in the challenge. |

Little Cable Carsby sfaliceComment: You've used the featureless sky in the background quite nicely to isolate the trolley car. Interesting approach on the text. Good luck in the challenge. |

Golden Gateby bryanbrazilComment: Certainly has a postcard look and feel to it. Nice job of processing done with this. I like the way you've laid out the main subjects to balance the composition. The black diagonal of the hillside works great for placing the text. No complaints here. Good luck! |

Great Seats Still Availableby jerseyjimComment: You should have used matching chairs. :D Sorry, have to give you a hard time about something! Very nice sunset/sunrise scene with a great sky and calm waters. Relaxing. Ok, one more nitpik - the horizon seems slightly (very) tilted to the left. He-he. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
