I like the yellow/green glow here. That's a nice touch. The flower, especially the center, is nice and sharp. Given the impact the center of this flower adds, I would have pushed the background to a truer white. As is, it looks a bit dingy in comparison and takes away from the overall impact a little. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge.

This is one of the better flower shots I've seen in this challenge thus far. I like that you added the green leaf and kept the stem as this helps to offset the white flower from the white (yes, it's actually white - hooray!) background. Good detail and you didn't blow it out. Nicely done. Good luck in the challenge.

Very good details on the foreground starfish. I understand your use of DOF to make the background shell an item of interest but not the primary. The big thing that holds this back for me is the seam from wall to floor (back to bottom, however you want to label it...). Best of luck to you in the challenge.

This is a cute, well exposed image, and certainly is "Fun". I like the movement in this as it adds a nice touch to what could otherwise be a static portrait. Only nit from me on this is the colors are almost too vivid for the theme of this challenge. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice detail in your subject ('Angel'). The lighting is unique and helps to bring out some details. As interesting as the angel may be, I think it's almost a bit overpowering in filling the frame. Sometimes filling the frame is helpful, but in this case I think people could be looking for a little more background. The background really isn't as white as white can be. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge.

This is like one of optical illusions. The cupcake papers at first glance appear to be sitting on the bottom (or flat) side, like you're looking at them from under a piece of glass. Actually, it still looks that way even after a minute or two. :D Clever use of props on this. Good job of lighting it as well. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Canopy

Unique approach. It seems like this photo is reversed of what the challenge calls for, and that is "Light on White". Here you have a white canopy against a yellow/beige background. JMO of course. :D Did you consider bringing the top line down on this (cropping so the top and the wall above are not in the frame)? Just a thought. Anyway, best of luck in the challenge.

Push Pin

Wow. Pushed the envelope on this one with regards to visibility of the subject. :D If you had adjusted this to where the "pin" part of the pushpin was clear and focused (it's focused now, but noisy and muted) this photo would be stronger IMO. Yes, the pushpin would have been more defined as well, but being as it's white I don't imagine much impact would've been lost. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.
