What in the world is this? Cool looking B/W image and the grain adds to the overall feel of it. The far side of the hand is blown out a little. Wait, is that an eyeglass case with glasses? Is it burnt or something? Sorry, not familiar with James Bond movies - perhaps that's the issue with all the questions. :D Anyway, good luck in the challenge.

Dang. I like this shot, but why go to all the trouble of putting this together and NOT buy a new deck of cards? Really takes away from this IMO. Cool thought on changing the eye color - perhaps a little rushed as you can still see blue in the upper right area of the iris. I also wish that her hair went all the way to the edge of the frame on the left as the gap top left is a little distracting. Keep at it. You have the creative juices, just need a little more attention to details. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge.

Conceptual Dilemma

I don't get it. What's the dilemma? To use white or yellow? Hmmm. Oh well. As for the image, the composition is ok, lighting is alright. Something looks unusual in the post-processing as I'm seeing what may be alot of compression artifacts (various layers of white and yellow areas, heavy around the egg yolk and then in the upper-left corner). Could be this cruddy monitor here at work. :D Anyway, just some observations and obviously JMO. Good luck in the challenge.

Very nice holiday theme used here. Good attention to detail in laying this out. Only minor complaint from me is the image in general has a bluish cast to it, like the color temp/white balance is off some. Good luck in the challenge.

Wonderful lighting and detail in this photo. Nice job of getting a white background (for the most part) in place for this. Only minor complaint I have is the composition; it would be stronger if the cat wasn't centered, and if both ears were included. Last, and certainly a very, very minor point - if you are going to use your pet as a subject a little extra attention to details like grooming might help a little (fur under the chin is kind of matted and would look nicer combed out). I know, I know...it's a cat, but still. :D Best of luck to you in the challenge.

This is a nice holiday concept type shot. Looks very stockish (which is fine). The lighting on the ornaments is nice and I like the blue tint. The thing holding this back for me is that you don't have a white background. Why not? It would have been fairly easy to do with the subject material you used. Hmmm.
