Abandoned Togetherby JEFFJSBComment: One of my favorite images in this challenge. Possibly a winner. I love everything about it; the composition, the colors, the textures of grass, steel, wood, pine needles, glass, and even a little block. Only one thing could have made this a better picture, and I can't blame you for the weather man's mistake. A pretty blue sky would have really made this a masterpiece. Great shot <10> |

Sunset on a Powerhouseby viajeroComment: That building looks newer than someo of the building we have around here. Interesting shot. I love the very low perspective which includes the rusted steel tracks, gravel and ties. Interesting enough the rusty color also appears in the buliding behind and draws the eye up into the building as well as down the tracks. I waiting for the train to come roaring down the track. Very nicely done. <8> |

Elliot Farmby BeetleComment: Nice composition. Reminds of my childhood, when I worked on a neighbor's farm. There are some nice textures in this image, and probably better in B&W than in color. Gives it that older look. <7> |

May be she will come back ...by vasilkovayaComment: I gotta keep it real here. The doll looks like 'a plant'. Great idea, but it just looks too clean to have been left behind. I love the image. Interesting, with great textures. |

Broadsided!by Judith PolakoffComment: Looks like a victim of 9/11. Interesting shot. Very awesome colors, both warm and cool. This image looks like a dream. A bad dream maybe, but I feel like Dorthy, in the Wiz of Oz, somehow. Wonderful textures of all kinds, wood, brick, grass, straw, tin, all working together very nicely. I love this image. <10> |

Forest Ambushby SchuffComment: Interesting title, and intesting shot. The colors in this image are a little wierd for me. |

left behindby dewedComment: Nice idea. There are only a handful of "different images" in this challenge, and this is one of them. There's a couple of extra points for orginiality. I like the idea, I like the composition, I like the colors. Very nicely done. <8> |

Goneby justineComment: Nice image, but can't you read the sign? Just kidding. I love the textures here, Stone, grass, wooden rails, trees, old asphalt roof, and then there's all the field's different textures going on as well in the background. If anything, this might be a little too busy. Too much going on all at once, but I still like it.<6> |

Leave Me Aloneby glodaComment: Haunted? What is that glow? Or is that just a little too much manipulation in photoshop? |

back to natureby barbaraanneComment: I enjoy looking at this image. It reminds more than most of the images in this challenge that nothing, man-made, lasts forever. The different stages of decay, and the soft texture of the moss really grab my eye and hold it. The added textures of the tree and the stones make my eye happy. I enjoy studying this image. Very nicely done. <8> |
