one of the few windows that are not super blown out...I think the power of the shot is slightly diminished by the fact that I see this as too staged with the doll. Nice shot, though

Good invocation of dreary, though a little more detail in the shadows would be better I think.

Unique shot in this challenge, and a superb handle on the lighting.
Well Done!

compared to the building, the doll's dress is pretty white... wonder what detergent they used.

This is a great find and the colors and lighting are wonderful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to crop more off the top. My disclaimer is that I've never won a ribbon! So it's just an opinion! :) BOL

Love the story this tells. The highlighted doll and tipped chair tell the story. Excellent work.

I love this. It gave me chills when I scrolled down and saw the doll. It reminds me of an old abandoned house near where I grew up that had a bunch of doll heads inside of it.

Great photo. I think the image completely captures the story. I don't know if a little more light would have bettered or hurt the photo, I'm not as good at this stuff as others but over all a great image.

The contrivance of this reminds me of the work of Boyd Webb. It has that superb technical finesse - and that is seriously meant, as this is impeccable - but it seems ... well, to remove meaning from it, rather than to add it. A matter of personal taste only, but there you have it.

This is very nice..I like that it gives us hints and glimpses of a story we would like to know more about...very touching.

I gotta keep it real here. The doll looks like 'a plant'. Great idea, but it just looks too clean to have been left behind. I love the image. Interesting, with great textures.
