An early startby jjbeguinComment: Nicely captured image with great balance between the subtle colours of the Louvre (I think) and the silhoutte of the couple. Well done. Good Luck. |

The rideby ergoComment: Like the composition, but there is way too much detail lost from what I am assuming is a big level adjustment. I think colour would have been a nice version with the setting sun and the resulting effect in the sky. A little more detail and this would have done really well IMO. Good Luck. |

A Sunsetby atsxusComment: I really like this image and framing created by the tree around the setting sun. Well done. The border negatively impacts an otherwise nice entry. Good Luck. |

Jazz Silhouetteby dbensonComment: I really like this image with the person being a perfect silhoutte yet your lighting allows us to see the brass of the trombone. The only downside for me is your border overkill and I think it damages an otherwise great image. The gold trim is great but the black shouldn't be more than 4-8 pixels per side IMHO. Good Luck. |

Boccie by the Bay.by NodeComment: I'm sure this might get hammered by the fact that "this is not silhoutte enough", however I think it is a good capture. Their main features (i.e. their faces) are nicely silhoutted and I like the detail in their clothing. The only thing that I would have changed based on my experience at DPC is a tighter crop (just to the left of the gentleman's elbow and right of the boccie ball) and more sky and less ground (reposition the subjects so that less than 1/4 of the image was represented by the grass. Good Luck. |
