Expectingby just-marriedComment: I really like the innocence of this image and anticipation of what's ahead. I find the wall to the left and bottom distracting and would have liked to have seen a tighter crop to include just the mommy's silhoutte and blind behind her. Good Luck. |

Dancing into the lightby arpitaComment: Very nice composition. I like the framing and use of negative space as well as the subtle reflection of the subjects in the floor. Good Luck. |

Standing in the pastby kcumanComment: Definately a creative take on the challenge, however, I don't think it will go over well with DPC voters. IMO, if you where able to adjust the lighting to dull the colours of your hat and shirt (i.e. better silhoutte your reflection) it may have helped. Good Luck. |

A Sea of Questionsby madhatterComment: Really love the composition and colours, but the subjects pose makes me think of a "wigger" (i.e. Eminem). The title helps tell the story and if the subject was simply standing their staring out to the ocean, it would have had a more dramatic effect IMO. Still a beautiful image. Good Luck. |

first light by whiteroomComment: Based on what I have seen so far, this should be in the top 10. Wonderful capture and colours from the sun. Some may give the standard response of "would have preferred the elephant on the left of the image... blah, blah, blah...", but seeing the little ones dust trail is perfect. Could have done without the border as it doesn't add anything. Still one of my favs so far. Good Luck. |

Serenity at Sunsetby autoolComment: I really like the pose and outline of the subjects face. I wish you didn't have such a tight crop and included more of the OOF sky and sunset behind your subject (i.e. zoom out and convert to landscape). Good Luck. |

Farewellby LevTComment: Better of the two images (which appear to be somewhat identical). Like the fact that the surfer is squating and the board is parrellel to the ground rather than upright with the surfer. Love the colours of the sky and refelction on the water and beach. Good Luck. |

Father and Sonby twm122Comment: It's too bad that you couldn't get a better angle so that the father and son had more sky behind them to silhoutte more of their bodies. The focus also appears crisper on the trees behind the subjects. Still a nice image and the silhouttes still provide some details to allow you to get a feel for the expressions on their face. Good luck. |
