Censoredby BlackboxComment: Ok, "censored" I get with the tape over the mouth, but the background is both distracting and does not support the message. Whatever is happening with the textures - something just seems to be off here. You've got this screaming guy...screaming about what? Because he's blurry and grainy for no apparent reason? An extra point for a good try and the benefit of the doubt on working hard to achieve a message; sorry, I just feel this missed the mark. |

The Glassworks Artisan... Protecting the Eyes.by hahn23Comment: It's a stretch to consider safety glasses a mask. In any event, the focal point here is the actin of the glassworking rather than the mask. I wouldn't go so far as to say it doesn't meet the challenge, but a different angle/perspective might have made it more a more interesting shot. For example, looking from underneath the flame up towards the face for a tighter composition including both elements. |

Ready to Change that Diaperby NobodyComment: Without the title, this shot has no story. Next time consider including the new diaper or the child in the frame to really flesh out your concept. |

Objects in Mirrorby wildirisComment: Clever idea - using the familiar message to reinforce a warning of danger was excellent. |

Mystery Dogby fldaveComment: Perhaps next time you could consider having the dog in motion or some other way to tell the "mystery dog" story. Yeah, you're in focus and the technicals are done fairly well with regard to the "rules" but there is nothing super captivating about this on an emotional level. |
