Weird Metal Buildingby AliciaComment: I like the black at the bottom. It gives the image height and made me feel like the scene was on a dock rather than a road. It seems a bit tilted to the right. May wish to do a slight straighten in the CCW direction. |

Day 3 - Bowthorpe Parkby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Had me thinking this was in my New England USA background. While it's hard not to have 'muted' colors when shooting brown, the overall image is a great capture depicting the current state of the park. Nice job. |

Tombstone.jpgby rider64Comment: There is a sadness conveyed in the image that is very striking. Nice use of your POV to include only what was needed to hammer out the message. |

Day 3: Masonic Cemeteryby agrimaceComment: This is a great image. The sepia tone gives the image a ghost-town feel which is classic! Perhaps a very slight rotation counter clock-wise to really level off the horizontals - still a fantastic picture. |

Posada Mountainsby AliciaComment: Great idea to offset the rooftops at practically the same level as the hills behind. Makes them look very natural in their setting. I like the narrow crop too. |

Veggie Variationby MelonMusketeerComment: another option from the change of composition to control the lighting: Use your flash even in daylight. It takes some adjusting to get the effects you want, but doing so will let you really fill in the shadows on a face or give a vibrant feel to colors that are sitting in the shade. If you have a bounce flash, bounce it off the top of the tent and watch those fruits and veggies come to life! |

Local Hang Out Day 3by emily212Comment: Good job choosing to shoot while there was still some daylight out. Shows off the building and it's environment very well and gives some nice detail to the structure itself. Looks like people might ski on that hill back there too...bet they do a good business. |

Day 3: Boundary Stoneby levyj413Comment: Great story and good subject. Would like to see this as a split screen postcard. Bottom half the signage, top half the stone up close from real low with only a bit of the background showing. It would add a lot to the visual imagery. Or is there a way to look down on the stone and capture both the stone and the metal plaque on the gates? (might need a ladder to get that angle...be careful if you do)... |
