I really like this image. The colors work well, the tilt works well, I love the shadow and the sharpness. There are great patterns involved, it looks like a puzzle waiting to happen.

This is one of those images that would really benefit from a black-and-white conversion and a heavy push on contrast. Although it appears that this is a really dense area of forest is there a house back there hiding in the bushes?

It kind of looks like it has some really big feet and long legs. So I'd have to say that it's some kind of an abstract person. I wonder what it would be like to shoot from right down close to the ground and looking up to give those legs and feet a really really distorted view...

2nd Street Bridge Day 5

Hi Kat.

I know that it's sometimes hard to find a good vantage point to take pictures of these types of bridges and rivers. This is a great photo for sharing purposes. A better composition would be from an angled point of view. Less straight on.

It would really be cool to get underneath or below these bridges to be able to get both of them creating lines across different areas one lower one higher in the picture.

Day 4: Pennsylvania Avenue

I might choose a slightly narrower crop from the top just to give the buildings a little bit more prominence And a slightly wider feel to the actual Avenue.
