Comment:
Looks very much like all the real ipod ads. The edges need to be sharper though.

Come Ski With Us On Fox Mountain
by TDCollins

Comment:
The fox is too hard to pick out. Remember, the target audience of most billboards is distracted drivers who only have a second to view the image. They need to be able to pick out the subject and read the message quickley.

Perhaps my moniter is calibrated too bright, but it's very difficult to see the string.

Comment:
I'd like to see this with a larger depth of field, such that his ear is in focus.

What's in your basket?

Cute, but it's difficult to see the details (i.e. the legs). Remember, most billboard viewers are distracted drivers who have only a second to take in the image.

Red Band Weather Factory - We Make Bigger, Brighter Clouds
by puzzled

Comment:
The smokestack is too small and the clouds it is creating don't stand out quite enough. Remember, billboards are generally viewed by people busy driving. Subjects need to be large and stand out from the background so that the viewer can pick them out instantly.

Comment:
The challenge was to take a photo that could serve as a billboard advertisement, not to take a photo of an existing billboard.

Simply Orange to start your day
by lwkimages

Comment:
Billboards need to be simple to draw all attention to the product - remember most billboards are targeted at people who are busy driving. The table cloth and background texture are too distracting.

Speeding Will Kill You1st Place
by sahko

Comment:
Advertisers wouldn't waste billboard space on a border. Things need to be as big as possible to get noticed by drivers. Great concept though and the shot it self is well composed.

This composition somehow gives me the feeling of putting the ring on, not taking it off.
