A Civil Fashionby drydocComment: Great Costume! i'm sure a dozen ppl have mentioned the non-period electrical wire. Why did you shoose that angle of the camera, looking down on the model? maybe it shows the skirt better. |

A true passionby rhipsterComment: Geat interaction between the main characters! some nice use of lines, the X of the chains, the halters. the arm leading to the horse, the nose leading to the man. However the image is washed out looking (a job for photoshop to fix) and there are too many distracting elelments. A tighter crop could eleminate the railing at the bottom - too bad the other horse was in the way as the backgound lights are sort of interesting. The white blob in the middle is very distracting. |

Ice Plant Magicby RLangsComment: Lovely flower - looks like a text book image. As a photo the contrating textures are nice, detaied center, soft petals, fat leaves - increasing in size. The composition, however, isnt very interesting. It is slightly off center but no enough so to make use of anything on the right of the image, in fact it seems to draw attention to the flaw on the tip of a leaf. the leading lines all lead out of the picture and nothing clearly leads back in. I think if this were cropped dead cdnterthe outward lines of the flower would be better balanced by the inward lines of the leaves. |

Norwegian Sunby leafComment: What a sunset! I especially like how the water is so finely textured and horizontal while the clouds look like rippling waves. The pattern of the sky lloks like a magnified version of the pattern of the water surface. |

Busy Beeby wkoffelComment: Exquisite bee picture - the reflections on his wings are especially nice - great contrast of textures, soft flower petals, fuzzy bee, shiny wings. perfect DOF |

Corfe Castleby dutch_danComment: Wow - the whole picture has an unreal feel to it, like it is a architects model on a train set or a diorama in a museum. Is the image tilted slightly to the right?? |
