The bus stopby siggiComment: FÃn mynd en ég fæ bara gæsahúð við að horfa á hana, minnir mann á þegar maður var à menntó og þurfti að taka strætó á veturna à "gamladaga". Allavega nærðu tilfinningunni vel, að þurfa bÃða eftir strætó, ég held að allir Ãslendingar skilji þessa mynd vel en spurning hvernig kaninn tekur þessu. Gangi þér vel. (8) |

1978 ==> 2004by snackwellsComment: Great cameras, both of them. Funny though that the AE-1 is almost as old as I am. Good shot but kindof flat, could use a little boost in contrast, also the backround above the 10D (20D?) is a bit distracting. |

Where's Waldog?by scalvertComment: Great portrait of a dog, his eyes really speak a story here. Love the lighting in this shot. Only thing I am going to nitpick about is the composition. I haven´t personally taken any dog portraits, so please feel free to ignore this but I have seen so many of them composed in "portrait" but not "landscape" as you do here so that if you would have gotten his paws in the shot too and eliminated more of the blanket on the left and right I think you would have had a killer shot. Anyway, gave it a 9. |

Desertedby darixComment: Pretty well composed and lit of course, but lens flare kindof kills it for me personally so I gave it a 5. |

Dominanceby KoriyamaComment: Very clever idea and well executed with good even lighting. I think you could explore this idea some more, perhaps aligning the pawns in a circle around them, as if they were spectators in a schoolyard fight. (8) |

Your alternate option: Appleby hyphaefungiComment: Clever use of DOF, I admire the shot but still something is missing. It´s not really that interesting to me but this picture is technically very good. Excellent ligthing, good DOF and sharp as a whistle. (8) |

i doby sacredspiritComment: It´s just way too dark for my taste, 90% of the image is pretty much pitch black and only a small fraction of herright legis lit. If you are making it dark to not put anything on display you should perhaps tried a technique callend "painting with light" to give you more control over what parts are dark and what parts are bright. If you are unfamiliar with this technique, send me PM after the challenge is over and I will gladly assist you. |

Stormyby ZoomdakComment: I think I have seen this place photographed before on this site. This -> www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=108843 is the same location right? Anyway while this is far from being a poor effort it just does look so much better in colour, I gave it a 6. |
