Sorry but I am not really digging the severe vignetting in this shot, and that is coming frome, I am a huge fan of adding vignetting afterwards, just look at my "road" entry for example. Just doesn´t seem to fit with this image as the subject is in the corner and the vignetting thus serves to drag the attention towards the middle of the photo. Still a nice shot, got a 6 from me.

Hey, is this your shot Kita? Nice one, might want to try and soften the lighting from the flash though, if you can bounce it up in the cealing next time it would be so much better. Everything else is pretty good, keep it up young lady, you definately have got a lot of talent, not just for your age. Take care!

Sorry but this is hardly what I would classify as a portrait, more of a street candid BUT I wonly deducted one point since I realize different people may have different opinions of what is a portrait and this certainly is a picture of a person. As a photo it´s nice but still, nothing that is making my jaw drop, somehow the man blends in too much and doesn´t stand out, the image is too busy for my taste. 5 from me.

Nice but somehow the lighting on the man and the backround don´t seem to match, like he´s sitting in front of a printed backround, same goes for the DOF. I have done similar shots, just look at my "people" folder in my portfolio so I am not saying that is bad that he doesn´t "match" the backround but here it somehow rubs me off as unnatural. Don´t get me wrong, it´s a nice shot so I gave it a 6.

Dunno, seems more like a candid snapshot than a portrait, he just doesn´t really seem to be relating to the camera other than "what the heck, someone is taking a picture of me!" but nothing that made me deduct points in this one, it´s a nice shot, got a 6 from me.
