Orange Sherbet Roseby KazComment: how odd is it that I got your photo RIGHT before the other peach rose... this is what I wrote them "
a perfect example of how focus/cropping can make a picture amazing... take yours, looks great, but the photo I JUST voted on is the same peach rose, cropped way in and VERY creative... there is a huge diffrence in "snapshot" as yours almost posseses and one of "art" which the previous photo epitomizes... "

Evening Tideby a1leyez0nm3Comment: in photoshop, there is this thing called levels... I Belive if you would slide the "middle" slider more towards the left it would halp with more clarity/contrast in color/brightness on the rocks. I Dont know how to expain it in photography terms, but basicly you need to "allocate" less "bits" to the "black" range and more to the "white" range...

still gave you a 10 though :) |

The Trioby GussiComment: the only problem here is that it seems blurry... I don't know if that is the "smog" or your camera but if your camera has "infinate" focus (usually you will see a "mountain" symbol, that would defintaly help in this shot... If it wern't for the blurrieness, easy 10.... |

Beach Landscape. A closeupby cbonsallComment: The only problem I have with this picture is that there is no sense of depth... It looks too me like I am looking straight down; however, if you were to move the camara and point it more towards the sky (still keeping all sand in the pic) - maybe only 6-10 degreess more, this would be very pleasing... oringaly a 6, after reevaluation 8 :) |
