Stair Voyeurby noranekoComment: I like the angle on this shot, great POV, B&W conversion could use a little work though. I like the B&W to be a high contrast between tonal ranges. good effort though,

Anyone home...by izadoodleComment: i like this, the only thing i would say would be to up the saturation a lot more, really push the fact ot the two colours. |

Crowded Yet Aloneby sarsonukComment: ok, i am coming back to comment on as many as possible, i think the subject is not prominent enough in the shot. I got lost looking for her. also i don't think there is enough of a crowed for the title. the girl with the baby on the left is also a distraction i feel.
Nice effort but try getting a lot closer to the subject next time. If the old girl was stationary for a while with blurs of people around then this would have worked a lot better. |

Word On The Streetby rasdubComment: i was so close to submitting a sot very close to this until i went for another.
After looking at this again I think a heavier saturation would have been really good here. |

Downtownby JeniYComment: sorry i am going to bump down for the following reason.
I think other than this being a street there is little to connect this with "street photography" I have mentioned on a few comments already that i think street photography should relate a story. This really has no story at all. also there is no point of interest, nothing to draw me into the scene.
Please keep trying as street photography is great once you get what it is about. |

End of the Lineby pointandshootComment: i just don't think this works, I have been looking at this for a few minutes and as a street photography for me its just not right.
There is too much empty space in the lower 3rd, the subject has been cropped from the right, missing the remainder of the coat and this also seems a little blown out.
The overall feeling i get is that you were uncomfortable taking this shot, this due to the angle the shot was taken.
For me this falls into "homeless people = street photography" Keep trying and explore outside of this myth.
Marking down one point. |
