This was a terrific idea, just missing the mark for full impact. I think the biggest issue is with the composition. It is just a bit too cluttered/busy for me. No given that, there is a ton to love about this photo. The expression of the girl and the mother on the left, the elderly woman coming towards you engaging the viewer, and the passerbys just shuffling along. The exposure is pretty good, consider it looks like it was midday in harsh light? It is a fun scene in a market place. Maybe a little different angle or on a lower plane to really make this one shine. Still a nice shot and a good fit for the challenge.

I like the contrast between the two figures that command attention - the little girl and the older woman. Subtle, but striking in a quiet kind of way.

I really like this image. I just think your conversion to B+W is a bit dark...the skin on the people is generally rather greyish. I like the centrally focused character who is the main "character" in this little street drama.

Nice image with so many attention points. I think you've done great justice to the theme

interesting and a nice shot. Only wish the woman stood out just a bit more

ok, i am coming back to comment on as many as possible, i think the subject is not prominent enough in the shot. I got lost looking for her. also i don't think there is enough of a crowed for the title. the girl with the baby on the left is also a distraction i feel.

Nice effort but try getting a lot closer to the subject next time. If the old girl was stationary for a while with blurs of people around then this would have worked a lot better.

You don't have to spell it out with the title, I hate it when it happens.

Wow, this is amazing. I really like the moment you captured. The composition draws your eye immediately to the woman in the middle; and then the little girl on the left is priceless. My only criticism would be that its a tad dark, but thats not a big deal. Great job!

Nice shot, B&W works well.
