The DOF is way too shallow. There is only a slice of the art piece in focus, and it is the slice directly down the middle. This would be a strong photo otherwise.

I like the effort put in here, but each of these items seems very obviously props. There is nothing wrong with that I suppose, but who would take their glasses off before putting down their pen. And the apple is there only to scream teacher. It just comes across as too artificial. Finally, the lines of the glasses and the pen lead to the apple, not to the "Very nice!", which is the subject of the title. I'd like to see a second effort and see what you come up with. This looks like a first try, but not a bad one.

What an awesome typewriter. I have a vintage typewriter of my own, but it's details are not nearly as impressive as this old Smith Premier No 2. I would liked to have seen a closeup shot of some of the more intricate details. All those gears and rods would likely hold enough interest up close to make a better photo than what seems more like a referential product shot.

I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about talking into a microphone, but it looks like the guy is trying to eat it rather than speak through it. The balance of the image is just too compressed for my taste. Otherwise, this is one of the better shots I've seen so far in this challenge. 7

I like the exaggerated oversaturated color. It adds interest to an otherwise boring communications tower. I say boring only because there are so many shots like this, but yours is the best i've seen so far. 7.
