Bobcatby rcrawfordComment: The bobcat is beautiful (is that the same as a lynx?). One thing is very unfortunate, and you already know it and had no control over it, and that's the busy green plant spouting out of his head. I like his environment and the far background almost looks like a semi-abstract painting. Is it? I have the sensation he is indoors. The light (tungsten?) is too warm overall and rather dark in the top right area 7 Journey |

Branta canadensis (Linnaeus) - Canada Gooseby rj324Comment: Since the bird is the picture, i would have liked to be able to detect his eye more. Not sufficient light on his head, which also makes the white area near his head turn too grey. Also, would have cropped more off the top and given a bit more space at the bottom. His reflections barely makes it or barely does not. It feels a little cramped there. 6 Journey |

Is The Coast Clear?by BigHusker001Comment: Fine, fine, fine. Good composition, nice detail and clarity. What i like most of all is the beautiful coloration of these ducks: such beautiful warm tones of greys, blues, browns, and blacks. 9 Journey |

Stylin'by YomiComment: This is just beautiful. The definition is outstanding. I really love the reflections of his feathers on his face, particularly through his eye! Great definition on his beak. It makes this image so alive.Love the blurred background and its color. Good photographic eye and a good camera! Gosh, what a handsome guy. You know, i still have over 300 pics to vote on but i lingered a long time looking at this image. 10 Journey. May i pat him? |

Shelter From the Stormby AntithesisComment: I feel this image too is way underrated. Granted the scene it depicts is rather "snapshotty" (well, heck, you took it from a parking lot) but the weather effect is great due to all the distortions. And rather than the image being depressing, it has a playful, fun appearance. I really liked it! |

Sun Kissed Blossomby sagestudioComment: I really liked this image and it seems way underrated. That's probably because some voters didn't feel it met the challenge closely enough. However, looking at it you're pretty aware of the intensity of the sun :) |

A Break in the Cloudsby mbardeenComment: Congrats on a really great image. Now i can't wait to see your G3 productions :) I can't understand that you got some criticism on the grain; it was so necessary here. And i for one liked that there was so little silhouette; it just underscored the drama. |

Ray of lightby draney4Comment: I always get a big kick out of these particular clouds with the light just gushing out. And you captured it quite well. As a result, the lighting on the trees rather suffered and it rendered their shapes rather unappealing; so little of the trees showing too. Good effort. 5 Journey |

One Drop Joins Manyby FiverComment: Judging by the ferns, i venture to say this scene is from the Pac NW. I love the water and the detail of the rocks in the foreground. That black boulder on the right is lovely. The ferns and the area above the water makes the overall scene a little busy for my taste, the more so since there is so much detail, texture and color variations elsewhere. 7 Journey |
