I Hope He Shows Upby leteneleComment: The face, expression, and tones are great. I am not a fan of the tree or the title. Her expression doesn't say that to me at all, but that doesn't affect the score. 7. |

Very Early Snowby basia03Comment: Perfect example of a simplistic black and white. I could see this in the top 10. |

A Day At The Rodeoby SunnieeComment: This is a great action shot. A little small, and a maybe cropped a bit tight on the top. This could have been really great if it had been a little bigger. 8. |

Hidden Beautyby PaigeComment: This is different, and I like the approach. I think it is a little too midtone for such a dramatic pose. The lighting on the mouth is beautiful. I think I could have given this a 9 if the tones had a little more contrast. 8. |

Young Photographerby rd_325Comment: This is a nice good quality photo. I think it had the potential to be a great shot. Rule of 2/3 is nice tones are great. It could have been better had he been looking somewhere besides into the camera, and if the camera had been in the frame of the shot. If he had been looking elsewhere it would have given the idea that he was studying something that he was going to take a picture of himself. Minor annoyance, his sleeve is turned up. All that said, I still think this will be in the cream that rises to the top. Good luck. |

Bistraby NatatorComment: I really like this one. The lighting is dramatic and is used very effectively to highlight the best features. GREAT eyes. Her face is a bit angular, so the use of the chair and the angles created by the positioning of the arms works wonderfully to offset and enhance her look. 9. |

Daddy's Girlby debitiptonComment: This is definitely going to win some major cutie pie points. Tones are wonderful. The childs face appears a little overexposed, but judging from the coloring of daddy's face I would say it is probably due to beautiful, light skin tones rather than lighting problems. Maybe a little too much nostil in this pose; however, the mood and the expressions more than compensate for any minor distractions. I am guessing top 10. Scoring a 9 from me. |
