Don't you just love columbines, so delicate and almost old fashioned looking. I don't think I've seen the all yellow so this is a nice treat. The second is almost a mirror image of the front one, good capture

This is a beauty and I know the name but can't remember it now. Oh maybe it's a Desert Rose? I think I remember Crayon's color picture and this looks similar. Lovely as usual. I can't even tell you used NI on this, so good job!

Day 2: Waiting To Open

That is a cool looking guy isn't it? What the heck is it? Stunning color, the blue and greens are perfect together. Would like to see a little (just a touch) more sharpness on the main flower.

Great color combination of the brown and purply-blue. I'd like to see this cropped in about the middle so that the one shadow on the left and the light part are gone.

Fly on the Mountain

Now that is one gorgeous flower perfectly captured. LOVE IT. The green is such a nice soothing green and the white just pops. Detail is great and the fly is a nice touch (although I'm not much of a bug person). Only one thing I would change and this is really picky, I know, would be to remove that little piece of debris on that one leaf on the right side.

What kind of flower is that, some kind of dianthus (sp?) maybe. Whatever it is, its' very cool. I like the lighting and color, very dramatic.

Great off center composition, bringing attention to that wonderful center. You might want to clone out that one bright spot in the lower left third of the flower though but that' just IMO.
