A carnival of colorsby jmleliiComment: Jeremy Lelii right ? This is certainly not a bad shot - but I've seen a couple of others of yours in forums that beat this hands down. Nice to see you try a slightly different approach to what is a fairly tired formula, but I think the lighting at the top of the frame is a bit harsh, and the mauve (or whatever the heck that colour is called) background doesn't really work for me. I do like the shadows a lot though. Still, this is a 6 from me - a shame cos I've seen a couple of your shots that would definately warrant and eight or nine. |

Dream Weddingby notonlineComment: The mist adds a nice touch here and the black and white treatment is effective. Certainly beats the heck out of a lot of wedding photos you see around the place. |

Road around Mývatn Wastelandby russiComment: Great scene. The clouds are fantastic and I really like the graduated sky and the way that road really does lead you somewhere. 9 |

Hazy Afternoon — Brant Point Light, Nantucket Townby Bear_MusicComment: A nice subject here, though the image seems a little flat - the composition is a bit too straightforward and the haze in the background makes the colouring a little dull. Probably worth a re-shoot on a more photogenic day though. I like the red light in the lighthouse - creates interest against that blue sky. |

Flower girlby NRRonComment: Pretty portrait, though her facial expression does seem a little odd sort of like 'what the heck are you doiong with that camera' :). |

Sea Dragonby ty_roniComment: Well fish tank shots are hard, so I commend your effort - I've had little luck with them in the past. This seems a little grainy, and perhaps filling the frame with him just makes the shot a little too busy. |

Marilyn Dreams in High Keyby KDOComment: Interesting idea - I think though, that while the high key effect is not bad here, the soft focus just doesn't do this any favours. |

Michael W. Smith in Concertby jpochardComment: Well this is well focussed and you got close to him, I can't find much else that excites me about this though. THe lighting is a bit ho-hum. |

Captivityby TychoComment: Great gacial expression - the black and white is effective here. Like the subtle angle of the bars. |
